Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician – Mid or Senior level to service commercial fire alarm systems in the Harleysville, PA area. You will inspect, test, and maintain systems under maintenance agreements and mentor junior technicians as needed.

The role requires reading construction documents, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with codes. SIP-powered smart buildings focus on safety and reliability in the greater Philadelphia region.

Qualifications

1+ year in installation/maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems (Mid)
3+ years in installation/maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems (Senior)
Able to differentiate wire types/colors and use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone
Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months
Able to read/design/construction documents
US driver license with clean record and fleet eligibility
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
Create detailed test and inspection reports per code requirements and customer needs.
Respond to, troubleshoot, and complete repairs to maintain system functionality.
Identify code and non-conformance issues and ensure standards are met.
Quote small repair jobs and provide parts and labor data to estimators/sales.
Plan work with Lead Technicians and Supervisors to strategize tasks
