Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Must differentiate wire types/colors; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Read and understand design and construction documents.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and meet fleet program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
• Create detailed test and inspection reports per code requirements and customer needs.
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and repair to maintain system functionality; report actions taken.
• Identify code and non-conformance issues and ensure standards are met.
• Quote small repairs and provide parts and labor details to estimators and sales.
• Plan work with Supervisors to strategize tasks.
