Role Overview

As a Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician, you will ensure the safety and efficiency of our Smart Buildings by maintaining and servicing commercial fire alarm systems. You will also mentor less experienced technicians, promoting knowledge sharing within our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing and inspections of fire alarm systems.
• Create detailed reports based on code requirements and customer needs.
• Respond promptly to troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Quote repair jobs and assist in planning work with team leads.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems.
• Ability to differentiate wire types/colors, use hand tools, and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
• NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 2 within 12 months.
• Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in electronics preferred.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to interpret design documents.
