Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Project Systems Specialist II to design fire alarm systems for our projects. You will lead design efforts on commercial facilities and coordinate with a team to deliver detailed schematics and calculations.

The role requires directing other design staff and collaborating with project managers to ensure code-compliant solutions. The position offers hybrid remote work with in-office days in the Harrisburg, PA area, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical drafting or AutoCAD preferred, or equivalent field experience.
• Five years’ experience in design of Fire and Security Systems; NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design fire alarm systems for Johnson Controls projects.
• Act as design lead on commercial facility projects and direct other design team members.
• Prepare detailed schematics and drawings to meet design criteria; coordinate with CAD support.
