Job summary

Encore Fire Protection in New Jersey is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist (System Integrity Specialist) to help customers stay safe and code-compliant by identifying fire alarm deficiencies and guiding them to the right repair solutions. Roughly 70% of your time is office-based for reviewing inspection results, building accurate quotes and proposals, and communicating with customers by phone and email.

Qualifications

• Prior technical experience with fire alarm systems.
• Sales experience beyond retail or hospitality, or strong transferable customer-facing experience.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Willingness to commit to a technical learning curve and structured training.
• Comfort using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Openness to learning ServiceTrade, HubSpot, and other tools.
• A people-first mindset and clear communication style.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask the right questions.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection reports and deficiency documentation tied to fire alarm systems.
• Prepare and send quotes and proposals for repairs and maintenance contracts.
• Communicate clearly with customers by phone and email scope, scheduling, next steps, renewals.
• Track renewals, follow-ups, and proposal activity, keeping documentation accurate and organized.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, to move work from quote to completion. Visit customer sites to survey systems and support accurate quoting.
