What You Will Do:

• Receive service calls, diagnose, and repair electronic fire alarm systems and related building systems at customer sites.
• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete service documentation and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor team members and suggest solutions for building efficiency, including upselling opportunities.

How You Will Do It:

• Follow troubleshooting procedures, interpret blueprints and manuals, and use test equipment.
• Service, troubleshoot, and install various manufacturers’ fire and life safety systems.
• Maintain safety standards, manage inventory, and perform physical tasks as required.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight travel as needed.

Required:

• 2+ years experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call, Paging.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Knowledge of test equipment and ability to perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass background and drug tests.
• Completion of SimplexGrinnell 4120 Network training within 12 months.

Preferred:

• NICET Level II certification.

Pay Range: Starting at $27.06/hour, based on experience, with benefits through a union agreement.
