Salary:

Commercial Fire Protection is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians. There's never been a more exciting time to join our team! We are in an accelerated growth phase in a rapidly expanding industry and are seeking motivated, self-driven individuals looking for a long-term career in the Seattle - Renton area.

Responsibilities include:

1. Servicing, inspecting, and testing fire alarm systems to prescribed standards.
2. Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting.
3. Programming and repairing customer fire alarm systems.
4. Identifying code and non-conformance issues.
5. Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
6. Installation of fire alarm systems may also be required.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire Alarm.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
• Knowledge of test equipment, multimeter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
• Physical ability to carry and move equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
• Ability to work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
• High level of customer service, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
• Maintain truck inventory for timely response to customer needs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Certifications: Seattle FA-1, NICET Level 2 Fire Alarm

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting company standards.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
