Qualifications

• Experience with inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm components to verify operation.
• Prepare detailed inspection and test reports documenting findings.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs on wiring, devices and software.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies to restore functionality.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and battery replacement on systems.
• Document all service activities in service orders and notes.
• Provide customer-friendly explanations and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Deficiency Sellers and coordinators for repairs and estimates.
