Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems. The role emphasizes proper inspection procedures, detailed reporting, and timely repairs to protect lives and property.

You will troubleshoot faults, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities in ServiceTrade for customer records. Qualified candidates have 4+ years of experience, NICET or related certifications are a plus, and a valid driver's license with

Qualifications

Knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable codes and standards.
At least 4+ years installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems.
Solid diagnostic skills and ability to work with electrical sequences and devices.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation of findings.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform needed repairs on control panels and devices.
Respond to service calls promptly and work with clients to address concerns.
Perform preventive maintenance and document service activities in ServiceTrade.
Coordinate with coordinators to schedule work and provide accurate estimates.
