Protect what matters.Century Fire Protection is looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems. This is a hands-on field role for someone who takes pride in solving problems, delivering quality work, and providing great customer service.️ What You’ll DoInspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm and life safety systemsDiagnose system issues and complete timely, accurate repairsProgram and configure fire alarm control panels and devicesComplete service reports, inspection documentation, and compliance formsIdentify deficiencies and communicate repair needs with customersCoordinate with project managers, service coordinators, and inspectorsMaintain company tools, testing equipment, and service vehiclesFollow NFPA standards, local codes, and company safety proceduresParticipate in the on-call rotation and emergency service response What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent1–3 years of fire alarm or life safety experience preferredTechnical training or certifications preferredNICET Fire Alarm certification preferred or required based on state requirementsKnowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and local fire codesExperience with fire alarm panels, devices, and testing equipmentNotifier or similar manufacturer experience preferredBasic Microsoft Office, mobile software, and computer skills The JobLift and carry up to 50 lbs.Climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spacesWork at commercial, industrial, and multi-family propertiesWork in varying weather, noise, and electrical environmentsOccasional overtime and on-call work may be required Why This Role MattersFire alarm systems have to work when they’re needed most.
