Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Helper in Knoxville, TN to join our growing team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience installing and maintaining fire alarm devices on commercial and industrial sites, under the guidance of seasoned technicians.

You will load and organize tools, follow drawings, and adhere to OSHA and company safety procedures while gaining skills in testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. Overtime may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude preferred.
• Basic computer and Microsoft skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to obtain required licenses or certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with installing fire alarm devices, wiring, conduit, and equipment.
• Support fire alarm testing and inspections under supervision.

• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
