Job summary

Our client, a leader in fire safety and life safety systems, seeks a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join the service department in Fremont, CA. You will perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment.

You will follow scheduled routes, complete reports using Siemens software and mobile apps, identify deficiencies, and assist with emergency service calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
• Proficiency using hand tools, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and PC-based systems for docs and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment.
• Follow scheduled inspection routes and service commitments for timely completion.

As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be part of the service department supporting fire alarm system inspections, testing, and maintenance. Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $35hr

Shift: 6:00AM - 5:00PM

• Perform inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment.
• Follow scheduled inspection routes and service commitments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Complete inspection reports, service tickets, and documentation using Siemens software and mobile applications.
• Identify system deficiencies, impairments, and code-related issues, communicating findings effectively to customers and management.
• Support service calls and emergency customer requests as needed, maintaining high standards of customer service.
