Job summary

Our client, a leader in fire safety and life safety systems, seeks a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join the service department in Fremont, CA. You will perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment.

You will follow scheduled routes, complete reports using Siemens software and mobile apps, identify deficiencies, and assist with emergency service calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
• Proficiency using hand tools, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and PC-based systems for docs and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment.
• Follow scheduled inspection routes and service commitments for timely completion.
• Complete inspection reports, service tickets, and documentation using Siemens software and mobile apps.
• Identify deficiencies, impairments, and code issues; communicate findings to customers and management.
• Support service calls and emergency requests while maintaining high customer service standards.
