Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Technician in Denver, CO for an on-site, permanent role. The technician will inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial facilities and will log activities in ServiceTrade.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, familiarity with DENFA/FA2 or NICET, and strong troubleshooting and safety knowledge. A company truck and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as Fire Alarm Service Technician with commercial/industrial clients.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems: control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, annunciators.
  • Proficient with ServiceTrade or similar service management software.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, safety awareness, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems across commercial/industrial sites.

Job Details

We are currently hiring for a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators.

  • Conduct regular testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial clients to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators.
  • Use ServiceTrade for efficient service management, logging all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to any fire alarm system malfunctions, resolving the issue promptly to maintain site safety.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Perform regular inspections and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members, providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive working environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Service Technician working with commercial and industrial clients.
  • CSA Denver Fire Alarm (DENFA/FA2) and NICET is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of various fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators.
  • Proficient in using ServiceTrade or similar software for service management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable way.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing a high level of service.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Relevant certification or qualification in Fire Alarm Systems or a related field would be an advantage.
  • Must have valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
