Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to service and maintain fire alarm and Clean Agent suppression systems, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role involves hands-on testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and coordination with customers to explain system status and options while upholding NFPA standards.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints to support diagnostics and repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, or government fire alarm systems preferred.
• Experience with Clean Agent Suppression Systems is highly desirable.
• Fire Alarm certification and/or Electrical certification required.
• NICET certification preferred.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm and Clean Agent Suppression systems.
• Test and verify the proper operation of fire alarm control panels, detectors, pull stations, notification appliances, and monitoring equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system deficiencies and malfunctions.
• Review electrical layouts and drawings to support service and troubleshooting activities.
• Document inspections, testing, maintenance activities, and corrective actions.
• Respond to service calls and emergency repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and management.
