Everforth Apex is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to troubleshoot, program, and repair life-safety systems on-site in Jacksonville, FL. The role emphasizes detailed diagnostics, reporting, and collaboration with field technicians to ensure reliable coverage and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of service experience, proficiency with laptop-based programming, and familiarity with Siemens and Notifier platforms, NFPA 72 standards, and safe work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of service experience in fire and life safety, with direct servicing, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Proficient in programming fire alarm systems with a laptop and knowledge of NFPA 72.
• Experience with Siemens and Notifier fire alarm technologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conventional, addressable, and voice-integrated fire alarm systems and networked solutions.
• Use professional testing tools to diagnose faults and verify system coverage.
• Program life safety systems using laptop and manufacturer software.
• Generate clear service reports per NFPA standards.
• Verify circuit integrity and diagnose opens/shorts/ground faults.
• Collaborate with other field technicians and provide guidance.
