Job summary

You will interpret blueprints, diagnose issues, and ensure systems operate reliably.

The role requires reading schematics, testing with oscilloscopes and meters, lifting up to 40 pounds, and readiness for overtime on busy projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Electrical installation experience.
• Excellent customer interaction skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair unaided by management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required licenses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and program fire alarm and integrated security systems.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals.
• Read and interpret submittals and schematics.
• Perform inspections and installation activities on electronic fire systems.
• Capable of handling equipment up to 40 pounds and work in challenging positions.
• Overtime/on-site overnight may be required during busy projects.
