Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is seeking experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion installation technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial and retail sites nationwide.

You will run low-voltage cabling, install cable support structures, and test systems to ensure everything is operational while following NFPA 70/72 guidelines. Ideal candidates can climb to 60 feet, read blueprints, and travel extensively (2–6 weeks).

Qualifications

• Field installation experience in security environments (Fire Alarm/Intrusion)
• In-depth NFPA knowledge (70/72)
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Willingness to travel extensively (2–6 weeks) and work flexible shifts

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial/retail locations
• Run low-voltage cabling and install mounting/routing hardware
• Test systems to ensure operability of devices and panels
• Ensure installations comply with NFPA standards and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and coordinate with team
