Job summary

Wachter, Inc. seeks experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion Install Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across nationwide commercial sites.

You’ll run low-voltage cabling, test systems, and ensure NFPA 70/72 compliance, while collaborating with a team. Ideal candidates bring field installation experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a readiness to travel 2–6 weeks at a time, with potential certifications to enhance progression.

Qualifications

• Proven field installation experience in fire alarm or intrusion systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps accurately.
• Willingness to travel 2–6 weeks at a time and work nights/on-call as needed.
• Licenses or NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial sites.
• Run low-voltage cabling, install cable racks, and perform tests for operation.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70/72 and safety requirements.
• Document work accurately and coordinate with the team.
