Job summary

Dynalectric San Diego is seeking a Project Manager for Fire Alarm systems. This role plans, directs, and coordinates construction activities, overseeing scheduling, budgeting, and implementation while supporting field personnel and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include coordinating trades, designing Fire Alarm layouts, surveying fields, and driving project flow from start to finish. Strong accounting and document control knowledge is required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years project management experience in the commercial new construction market.
• NICET II certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Technical Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between trades and manage design and layout of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Drive the project’s overall flow from inception to completion.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Attend walk-throughs and review scope for project turnover.
• Ensure all project documents control is completed (insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders).
• Collaborate with foreman on project safety and scheduling.
