Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Installer to join a growing team. The role involves routine installation and checkout on varied systems using codes, drawings, and customer interaction to ensure satisfaction with the installation.

Responsibilities include installing fire alarm, voice/data, and security systems, wiring, conduit, and 3-phase power, plus strict adherence to safety policies and proper documentation on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of Fire Alarm/LV installation experience.
• Solid knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Able to read blueprints/diagrams and follow specifications.
• Experience terminating field devices.
• State/local minimum certifications.
• NFPA 70 and NFPA 72 installation knowledge.
• Ability to work under deadlines and with some supervision.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Physically fit for lifting up to 25–50 pounds and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm, voice/data, and security systems.
• Install commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems.
• Install all types of electrical conduit.
• Troubleshoot circuit opens, shorts, or ground conditions.
• Install and run wires, wire devices, fish walls, and doors.
• Complete paperwork and keep as-built drawings current.
• Comply with Sciens safety programs/policies.
