Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Installer to join our growing team in Haslet, TX. You will perform routine installation and checkout on fire alarm, data/voice, and security systems, following codes, company procedures, and engineering drawings.

You will build a positive interface with customers to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the installation. The role requires 1–3 years of LV installer experience, ability to read blueprints, knowledge of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of Fire Alarm/LV Installer experience.
• Solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications.
• Experience in termination of field devices.
• State and locally required minimum certifications.
• NFPA 70/NFPA 72 installation knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm, voice/data, and security systems.
• Install commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems.
• Install all types of electrical conduit.
• Troubleshoot circuit opens, shorts, or ground conditions.
• Install and run wires, wire devices, fish walls, and doors.
• Complete paperwork and keep as-built drawings current.
• Comply with industry standards and Sciens safety policies.
