Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Cabot, Arkansas is seeking a Fire Alarm-Low Voltage Technician to install and service integrated systems including fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and related infrastructure. The role requires one year of experience in commercial installations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read electrical plans.

The position offers excellent pay ($21.00–$31.00 hourly, based on experience), a company vehicle, cell phone, vacation time, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of experience installing commercial construction Integrated Systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to follow manuals and translate them into simple instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Reliable transportation and valid State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• May require participation in on-call rotation.
• Desirable: experience or training in specialized systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and product requirements for installation and/or service.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate product, service, or process performance.
• Operate industry-specific tools to ensure proper installation and/or service.
• Identify and evaluate complex problems, review information, and implement corrective action plans.
• Interpret and complete assigned instructions from the supervisor.
• Complete work in a timely manner as directed by the supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, job site personnel, and vendors.
• Oversee, plan, schedule, and prioritize the work of others, and delegate tasks to others.
