VSC Fire & Security in Jonesboro, Arkansas is seeking a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Service Technician to install, test, and repair fire protection and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control. You will troubleshoot issues and coordinate with clients to deliver reliable service.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of hands-on experience with at least one system family, be able to read blueprints, and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience servicing fire alarm, security, camera or access-control systems.
• Able to read plans, documents, meters, and safety signage colors.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Desirable NICET I/II/III certifications or ITFAS-related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair security, camera, access control, suppression, and fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and false alarms.
• Program multiple system types and test for proper operation.
• Consult with clients on system issues and provide repair recommendations.
• Use blueprints to determine required installation per building layout.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and connect electrical wiring.
• Inspect systems and make necessary adjustments and repairs.
• Ensure systems comply with NEC and NFPA codes.
• Explain system function to end users and provide on-call support.
