Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Cabot, Arkansas is seeking a Fire Alarm-Low Voltage Technician to install and service integrated systems, including fire alarm, intrusion, access control, CCTV and related technologies. The role requires attention to detail, reading electrical plans, and the ability to follow manuals with minimal supervision.

You'll work with a team, participate in service and inspections, manage on-site safety, and may require on-call rotations. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience installing commercial construction Integrated Systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficient in following instructions in equipment manuals and translating them into simple instructions.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and product requirements for installation and/or service.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate product, service, or process performance.
• Operate industry-specific tools to ensure proper installation and/or service.
• Identify and evaluate complex problems and implement corrective action plans.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, job site personnel, and vendors.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with installation and service of Integrated Systems.
• Maintain proper risk management and safety procedures on all job sites per VSC.
• Participate in service and inspection process to oversee project repair, testing, and completion.
