Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on life safety systems.

You will diagnose issues, document work, educate customers on system operation, and ensure compliance with NFPA codes and safety practices while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NICET Level I or higher is a plus.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and maintenance on fire alarm and suppression systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Identify and diagnose issues with fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Educate customers on system operation and functionality.
• Manage job scheduling and progress efficiently with a focus on quality.
• Provide prompt customer service and address inquiries and service requests.
• Submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate safe handling of equipment and fall protection as required.
