Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for a Fire Alarm Inspector based in Tonopah, AZ. The role involves inspecting, testing, servicing, and performing preventive maintenance on fire alarm and suppression life safety systems in various facilities.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, educating customers, scheduling work, and ensuring all tasks are documented and compliant with codes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• NICET Level I or higher is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the Fire, Life & Safety industry.
• Knowledge of NFPA code requirements
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and maintenance on fire alarm and suppression systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Identify and diagnose issues with fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Manage job scheduling and progress with a focus on quality and cost-efficiency.
• Educate customers on fire alarm system functionality and emergency procedures.
• Complete task-related documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Follow safety regulations and use fall protection equipment as required.
