Job summary

Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company in Madison Heights, MI is seeking a Fire Alarm Installer to join our team. You will install and commission fire alarm systems, run cabling, and ensure compliance with codes while delivering quality service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, NICET 1 preferred, and can work safely at heights. Pre-employment drug test and background checks are required; a strong focus on safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
NICET 1 in Fire Alarm System strongly preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of fire alarm installation experience required.
Ability to work safely from heights.
Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR.

Responsibilities

Program and commission new fire alarm system installations.
Ensure systems comply with electrical and fire codes.
Explain and demonstrate system function and operation to end users.
Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with company staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform administrative duties including completing daily service acknowledgements, safety documentation, and other related duties as required.
