Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a skilled sprinkler installer to join our Duluth, GA team. You will install, assemble, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects, following NFPA standards and project specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–5 years of experience, the ability to read blueprints, and strong mechanical aptitude. NICET certification or related training is preferred, with safety and teamwork emphasized on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation or pipefitting.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and project specs is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills are required.
• NICET certification or trade-related training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain fire sprinkler piping, fittings, and devices according to plans and specifications.
• Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with foremen, other trades, and field personnel to ensure project schedule adherence.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training.
