Job summary

CEMCO Systems is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. This hands-on role requires attention to quality and protecting people and property.

Responsibilities include testing panels, detectors, and notification devices; documenting deficiencies; and communicating findings to customers and service teams. A high school diploma and 2–4 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.
• NICET Level II or III preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and inspection practices.
• Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems per NFPA and local codes.
• Test panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.
• Verify operation of audible and visual signaling and circuits.
• Document deficiencies and repair recommendations.
• Communicate findings with customers and service teams.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; complete inspection reports.
