Protect what matters.CEMCO Systems is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems while ensuring they meet applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer requirements. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work and helping keep customers and their properties protected. What You’ll DoInspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and components according to NFPA standards, local codes, and manufacturer requirements.Test alarm panels, initiating devices, detectors, pull stations, and notification appliances.Verify proper operation of audible and strobe devices and notification circuits.Identify and document system deficiencies, repair needs, and recommendations.Communicate findings with customers and service teams.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Complete accurate inspection reports using company reporting systems.Maintain tools, testing equipment, and company vehicle in safe, working condition.Perform other duties as assigned. What You BringHigh school diploma or GED.2–4 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.NICET Level II or III preferred.Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and inspection practices.Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel skills.Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. The JobAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures and conditions.Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment.Able to read diagrams, labels, and test results and distinguish color-coded wiring.Ability to hear alarm signals and communicate effectively in noisy environments.Comfortable working around flashing and strobe lights during testing.
