Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Inspector to perform building fire alarm inspections, test devices, and generate comprehensive reports. The role supports the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager in collecting data and completing Fire Alarm Inspection Reports and Certificates.

Preferred candidates have a college degree or equivalent experience, with NICET certifications encouraged and NFPA standards knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service oriented and able to work in a team environment.
• Fire alarm inspection/testing experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with using test equipment and PC software (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform building fire alarm inspections including testing devices and recording results.
• Generate Fire Alarm Inspection Reports and certificates.
• Assist Lead Inspector/Inspection Manager with data collection and paperwork.
• Attend monthly team meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
