Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Ogden, UT is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team and help protect lives. You will perform building fire alarm inspections, test devices, record results, and generate Fire Alarm Inspection Reports and Certificates.

You’ll support the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager, work in a team, and help ensure compliance with NFPA standards. Preferred candidates have a college degree or equivalent experience, with NICET certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable with experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards for inspection/testing of fire protection systems; NICET certifications encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer service oriented.
• Ability to work well in a team environment; fire alarm experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with test equipment and basic PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Willingness to work on-site and adhere to company safety policies.

Responsabilités

• Perform building fire alarm inspections, test devices, and record results.
• Generate Fire Alarm Inspection Reports, Quick Reports, and Certificates.
• Assist Lead Inspector/Inspection Manager with data collection and paperwork.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and other duties as assigned.
