Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm Inspector to perform building inspections, test panels and devices, and generate comprehensive reports. You will support the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager, ensuring accurate data collection and timely paperwork such as Fire Alarm Inspection Reports and Certificates.

Qualifications include a preference for a college degree, NFPA knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• Learn NFPA standards; stay current with code changes; NICET certifications encouraged.
• Excellent written and oral communication; customer service oriented.
• Team oriented; able to work in a collaborative environment.
• Fire alarm experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with test equipment and PC software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Punctual and able to perform sound tests prior to tenant arrivals.
• Able to use phone and computer consistently throughout the day.

Responsabilités

• Complete inspections on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Test all building fire alarm panels, devices, and functions; record results.
• Download data and generate completed Fire Alarm Inspection Reports.
• Participate in monthly team meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
