This field-based role ensures customer systems are dependable, well documented, and ready to perform. You will follow safety policies, document work with provided tools, and be prepared to intermittently work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of installation or service experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Capable of performing physical labor.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to carry and move equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and smartphone use.
• Ability to obtain NICET I within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire alarm systems for existing and new customer sites.
• Perform routine service and preventative maintenance on life safety product lines.
• Complete accurate documentation for all work performed.
• Follow verbal and written instructions while meeting schedules and customer needs.
• Work safely and professionally in a clean, organized, and compliant manner.
• Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs as needed for the job.
• Work at heights or in unusual positions, including ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment.
• Support alternative shifts or weekend work when required to meet customer demands.
