Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inspector to perform routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety product lines. The role requires the ability to test fire alarm systems, document work, and follow safety policies.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of installation or service experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm equipment, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of installation or service experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of physical labor and climbing ladders or scaffolding as needed.
• Must adhere to safety policies and follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems for existing customers and new clients.
• Maintain documentation of work performed using company tools.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Carry and handle equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, or high-lift equipment when required.
• Be available for alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer needs.
• Perform duties safely and keep a clean work area.
