FIPS 140 Security Engineer

What You Will Do
- Work on varied FIPS 140 validation projects.
- Perform security analysis, design product architecture, conduct vulnerability and physical security testing.
- System-level logical analysis, product evaluations against standards, cryptographic testing, source code review, and technical report writing.
- Automate testing through scripting and develop applications to support test cases.
Qualifications You Will Bring
- Cryptographic Validation Program (CVP) Certification.
- Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, PKI, random number generators, etc.
- Experience with programming languages like C, C++, Python, or Java.
- Ability to understand security standards and apply them to products.
- Experience with network setup, subnetting, routing, and security protocols like SSH, IPsec, TLS.
- Experience in testing environments, technical writing, troubleshooting, and multitasking.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python, debugging tools, statistical analysis of entropy sources, OpenSSL/OpenPGP, vulnerability analysis, and security principles.
- Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, and knowledge of Active Directory and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with test tools like oscilloscopes and signal generators, and knowledge of X.509 certificates.
Education & Experience
- Typically a BS degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Position Details
- Pay Range: $57.99 - $62.99 per hour.
