Job summary
FIS Brokerage & Securities Services LLC is seeking a technical support professional to handle L1 monitoring, production support, and connectivity issues across multiple products and platforms. The role involves troubleshooting for SGN applications, and ensuring client transmissions and connections run smoothly.
You will work in a Linux-based environment, supporting 24x7x365 operations with rotating on-call duties, while documenting incidents and adhering to compliance with trading and monitoring
Qualifications
- Familiar with basic problem resolution and escalation practices.
- Ability to support FIS Brokerage applications and procedures.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols.
- Experience with Windows and Linux server environments and related tools.
Responsibilities
- L1 monitoring and production support.
- Monitor connectivity between clients and FIS Brokerage network.
- Investigate error alerts from various systems.
- Provide first level technical support for multiple customers; assist with network connectivity for new/existing customers.
- Communicate with internal and external clients; answer questions about transmissions and connections.
