Job summary

Basic Capital is redefining retirement tech from its Tribeca, NYC base. We seek a solutions engineer who can embed with external partners, rapidly map complex operational problems, and deliver end-to-end software that bridges business and technology.

You will collaborate with technical teams and executives to craft scalable, impactful products that modernize retirement infrastructure. A strong track record in full stack development and React is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forward deployed / solutions engineering experience.
• Strong full stack software engineering skills.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python, Ruby, or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with React.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with external parties such as TPAs, record-keepers, and HR/payroll processors.
• Understand operational issues and build end-to-end full stack software to address them.
• Engage with external stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
