Job summary

Basic Capital, a fintech disruptor in retirement services, is seeking a solutions engineer to embed with external parties and rapidly address operational issues using software and AI. You will engage with external stakeholders from technical teams to executives and work across the full technology stack.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in forward deployed engineering, strong full-stack capabilities, and proficiency with React and multiple programming languages.

Qualifications

• Rapidly understand their toughest operational issues and use software and AI as a lever to quickly build end-to-end full stack products for them
• Engage directly with external stakeholders, from technical teams to executives

You will

• Embed directly with external parties such as Third Party Administrators (TPA's), Record-Keepers, and HR/Payroll processors
• Rapidly understand their toughest operational issues and use software and AI as a lever to quickly build end-to-end full stack products for them
• Engage directly with external stakeholders, from technical teams to executives

Required Competencies

• 2+ years of forward deployed / solutions engineering experience
• Strong full stack software engineering skills
• Proficiency in any of the following: Kotlin, Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python, Ruby, or TypeScript
• Proficiency with React
