Basic Capital is building the modern 401(k) for today’s workforce and a retirement mortgage, aiming to disrupt a $1T retirement industry. We collaborate with leading financial firms and tech teams to solve complex operational problems through end-to-end software.

We seek a forward deployed / solutions engineer with 2+ years of experience, strong full stack skills, and proficiency in React and related languages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forward deployed / solutions engineering experience.
• Strong full stack software engineering skills.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python, Ruby, or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with React.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with external parties such as Third Party Administrators (TPA's), Record-Keepers, and HR/Payroll processors.
• Rapidly understand their toughest operational issues and use software and AI as a lever to quickly build end-to-end full stack products for them.
• Engage directly with external stakeholders, from technical teams to executives.
