Job summary

Transcard, a Chattanooga-based fintech company, offers a paid Business Development intern program designed to provide meaningful projects and direct business impact. You will work with the Sales – Business Development team, gaining exposure to outbound outreach, client demos, and cross-functional initiatives.

The internship operates Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with supervision and feedback to help you meet academic requirements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a relevant Bachelor's degree.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong written/verbal communication.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations.
• Able to work remotely and independently with good time management.
• Preferred familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).

Responsibilities

• Assist with identifying potential clients and opportunities while promoting financial products.
• Gain understanding of financial service technologies.
• Outbound calling and networking to build partnerships.
• Research prospective clients and schedule discovery meetings.
• Maintain prospect data in Excel or CRM tools.
• Support proposal development and client-facing presentations.
• Assist in internal and external presentations to accelerate initiatives.
• Participate in client demos, business reviews, and cross-functional meetings.
