Intuit Fintech is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to help shape the risk platform, using React for frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend. You will work on AI-enabled applications and risk analytics within a fast-paced Fintech environment in New York.

Collaborate with product and analytics teams to implement data-driven features, dashboards, and scalable data pipelines while advancing cloud-native practices on AWS and CI/CD. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in designing and developing software with front-end (React) and back-end (Java/Spring Boot) tech.
• Hands-on experience in GenAI concepts and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, GPT, SageMaker, Bedrock) and the ability to integrate AI in practical applications.
• Prior experience in risk and compliance domains within financial platforms is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Fintech concepts, including payment systems, risk analytics, and compliance strategies.
• Proficiency in cloud solutions, particularly AWS, and strong familiarity with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in scripting languages like Python, SQL, and frameworks for data visualization tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong analytical abilities and data storytelling expertise.
• Proven experience driving collaboration across engineering, product, and analytics teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions for the Fintech Risk Platform, utilizing React for the front-end and/or Java/Spring Boot for the back-end.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and optimize risk and compliance capabilities.
• Drive the development of AI-enhanced applications, leveraging GenAI concepts and frameworks to deliver transformative Fintech solutions.
• Analyze, identify, and mitigate risks across the Fintech ecosystem by implementing robust compliance measures and risk mitigation strategies.
• Utilize advanced statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and risk analytics to power decision-making and feature development within the risk platform.
• Partner with product managers to understand analytics needs, define metrics, and implement executive dashboards to monitor platform performance.
• Build data pipelines and models for risk data, ensuring automation, consistency, and scalability across Fintech systems.
• Conduct A/B testing and experimentation, interpreting results to optimize platform efficiencies and drive informed decision-making.
• Stay updated with developments in Fintech and AI technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
