Job summary

UGLYCASH is hiring for a Product Owner who will work directly with the founders and founding engineers to shape the core fintech experience from end to end. You’ll move real money, learn how systems interact between customers, engineering, and operations, and take ownership of meaningful improvements from day one.

You don’t need a traditional PM title or banking background; you should be curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable with data.

Qualifications

• Curiosity about how systems work and willingness to learn technical concepts.
• Ability to prioritize, communicate blockers, and seek help when needed.
• Experience turning feedback into concrete product improvements.
• Interest in owning core product flows and collaborating with founders.

Responsibilities

• Stay close to support, customer feedback, and product data to understand where people struggle.
• Investigate issues with engineers, understand impact, trace root cause, and decide next steps.
• Take defined improvements from prioritization through implementation, verification, and measurement.
• Identify recurring problems and improve product flows, monitoring, or internal tools.
• Use AI to accelerate investigation, analyze data, automate repetitive work, and prototype solutions.
