Job summary

UGLYCASH is hiring a Product Owner to work directly with founders and founding engineers on the core fintech experience. You’ll move real money flows, cards, and cross-market operations end-to-end, learning fast and growing into bigger ownership as you prove impact.

Ideal candidates are curious about systems, data-driven, and able to translate complex problems into concrete improvements. You’ll start with focused issues and scale responsibility over 24 months in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

• PM-like curiosity about how systems work and willingness to learn.
• Data-driven mindset with attention to detail and accountability.
• Ability to prioritize, communicate blockers, and work with engineers.
• Evidence of responsibility from projects, operations, or products.
• Experience using AI to inspect or improve processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stay close to support, customer feedback, and product data to understand where people struggle
• Investigate issues alongside engineers, understand impact, trace root cause, and decide next steps
• Take defined improvements from prioritization through implementation, verification, and measurement
• Identify recurring problems and improve product flows, monitoring, and internal tools
• Use AI to accelerate investigation, analyze data, automate repetitive work, and prototype solutions
• Build judgment to own increasingly complex parts of the core experience independently over time
