Job summary

MEMX is seeking a Legal Intern to join our team this summer. This internship offers hybrid work with 2 days in-person at our co-working office in Midtown-NYC. You will work alongside experienced attorneys, conduct legal research, and contribute to regulatory filings and other documents.

You must be enrolled in a J.D. program, have strong research and writing skills, and be able to work in person in Midtown Manhattan. Residency in MEMX’s approved remote states is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program and pursuing legal training.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Clear communication and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to work in person at Midtown Manhattan during the summer and be a resident of MEMX-approved remote states.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for the team.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and proofreading regulatory filings and other legal documents.
• Help organize and maintain legal files and resources.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with attorneys and colleagues across MEMX.
• Support additional legal projects as needs arise.
