Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in New York seeks an Investment Banking and Capital Markets FinTech Associate to support execution of live transactions within the FinTech coverage group. You will prepare detailed client presentations, build models, and assist with M&A and capital markets assignments.

The role requires 2+ years in IB with Tech/FinTech exposure, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelor’s degree. Hybrid work, mentorship, and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of investment banking experience, with exposure to technology or FinTech sectors.
• Strong quantitative/analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Experience supporting senior bankers through all transaction stages, from pitches to closing.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred; Series 79 and 63 licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of live Fintech transactions, preparing detailed client presentations.
• Develop materials for meetings with clients on M&A and capital market transactions.
• Build operating models and perform DCF, comps, and LBO analyses.
• Synthesize company and market data and conduct due diligence.
• Collaborate with leverage debt, equity, cash management, FX and interest rate teams; mentor analysts.
