Job summary

LatentView Analytics, a leading global analytics provider, is seeking a Risk Analyst to support fraud prevention and risk management for QuickBooks Payments within the fintech ecosystem.

You will collaborate with Data Science, Product, Risk Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Compliance to develop risk strategies, analyze fraud trends, and implement controls that protect merchants and customers while enabling growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fraud analytics or risk in fintech.
• Experience analyzing fraud data to guide risk decisions.
• Familiar with risk policies and fraud controls.
• Experience with AI/ML tools for fraud detection.
• Knowledge of ACH, card networks, chargebacks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance fraud prevention with user experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Customer-focused mindset on merchant and consumer impact.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fraud and risk mitigation strategies.
• Support the development and enhancement of risk policies and controls across fintech products.
• Analyze fraud trends, risk events, and threats to identify opportunities for improved detection and prevention.
• Support risk assessments for new products, features, and initiatives.
• Use data, analytics, AI/ML tools, and automation to improve fraud detection and risk decisioning.
• Evaluate risk controls and their impact on fraud, CX, retention, and performance.
• Support innovative risk strategies that enable growth while remaining secure.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to leverage data for fraud prevention.
• Stay informed about emerging fintech fraud trends and industry best practices.
• Communicate analytical findings, recommendations, and risk trade-offs clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
