Larson Maddox is seeking an experienced Consumer Finance Regulatory Officer to join its lean, collaborative legal and compliance team in California. The role will advise across consumer lending products, including mortgages, HELOCs, and credit products, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, internal policies, and third-party banking requirements.

This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring practical regulatory guidance and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• 7+ years of compliance experience at a FinTech or sponsor bank.
• JD preferred; bar admission.
• 3+ years focused on consumer finance or lending regulation.
• Strong knowledge of TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, TRID, HMDA.
• Experience with mortgage, HELOC, credit card, or other consumer lending products.
• Ability to draft loan documents, disclosures, policies and contracts.
• In-house experience in banking/fintech lending preferred.
• Northern California preferred; remote candidates working Pacific hours acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and business teams on new product development and regulatory changes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical policies and controls.
