Job summary

Origence is seeking a Compliance Manager – FI Connect to lead day-to-day CMS administration, drive regulatory adherence, and advise business teams on compliance matters. This role reports to the Director of Compliance and supervises a Compliance Analyst, partnering across functions to scale an effective compliance program.

Based in the United States, this full-time position offers a starting salary range of $111,800 to $139,800 per year, with base pay determined by experience and location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services, fintech, or consumer lending.
• Strong working knowledge of consumer lending regulations (TILA, Reg Z, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA).
• Experience managing compliance teams and/or supervising team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Compliance Management System (CMS) documentation and tracking that supports compliance with regulations such as TCPA, TILA, Reg Z, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA.
• Lead compliance risk assessments, evaluate control effectiveness, and document gaps requiring remediation.
• Develop and execute risk-based compliance monitoring and testing activities; document results and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks, assess business impact, and elevate matters requiring strategic direction.
• Manage compliance issues, findings, and corrective action tracking through resolution.
• Analyze consumer complaints to identify compliance issues, recurring trends, root causes, and opportunities for corrective action.
• Oversee fair lending monitoring and testing, evaluate results, and coordinate remediation of identified risks.
• Review lending practices, loan documentation, and disclosures for compliance with consumer lending regulations.
• Coordinate state licensing compliance tracking and reporting.
• Review consumer-facing materials, marketing content, scripts, and promotional materials for compliance.
• Coordinate compliance approvals for customer communications and marketing initiatives.
• Manage FI Connect’s participation in the enterprise regulatory change management program and coordinate timely implementation readiness.
• Support implementation of regulatory change processes; maintain and update compliance policies and documentation.
• Assist training administration with compliance training enforcement and management.
• Provide compliance guidance to product, operations, and business stakeholders; participate in new product/process reviews.
• Support compliance-related examinations, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
